It’s been too long since my last outfit post… The past month has been extremely crazy for me… Between fashion week, apartment hunting, and trying to land a job, my blog has been unfortunately, put on the back burner. Now that everything is settled and I now, FINALLY have an apartment and a job, I’m back.
I think for me I really need to learn the art of balance. I can sit back, look at what’s happening in my life, and realize that too often do I dedicate too much of myself to only one thing. It’s a bit late for New Years Resolutions, but maybe I’ll make March resolutions a thing? I’m realizing that to stay sane, we all need something in our lives that we love. That we can come home to and give our heart to like nothing else… and leave a little piece of it there when we’re doing the things in life that we have to do. For me I’m happy to say that my happy place is blogging. It’s when I’m planning and posting outfits, writing a little bit of what I’m thinking for people to read. Find your fire and keep it burning, no matter what.
This weekend we went into Soho to shoot some outfits. I’ve been wearing turtlenecks nonstop lately. I love that they’ve become fashionable again and not completely nerdy, because New York is so cold. I was sent this suede skirt from Poshsquare, so I paired it with knee-high boots to add a touch of height. You won’t ever see me in a skirt or a dress without a pair of heels.
