If you keep up with me on my Instagram, you’d know that a few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to finally take our first official vacation to the Bahamas! There was no question on where we wanted to stay. We both knew about Atlantis and there were many different things that attracted us to the resort. We knew we wanted a laid-back holiday where we could easily access the beach, yet still feel like there was stuff going on around us. We were lucky enough to have the water view that overlooked the entire resort.

Honestly 5 days was not enough for us! On our last day, we were like, “wait, we didn’t do this! Wait… we didn’t do that!” From turtles to sharks, sea life is all around you when you walk through the resort. We’d wake up and see people feeding the stingrays and swimming with dolphins. There’s also a major aquarium underground!

We played big kids a few days in a row at the water park. We must have gone down the “lazy river” 6 or 7 times. It was easily one of my favorite parts of the resort! The Leap of Faith slide was definitely the highest slide I’ve been on, while the Serpent slide takes you underwater to get a closer look at the sharks!

The resort also boasts shops like Versace and David Yurman. If shopping isn’t your thing, the casino is a popular choice as it’s the Caribbean’s largest. Every night had different entertainment such as a comedy show or a beach-side party. More of an early riser? Atlantis offers daily fitness classes from yoga to tennis for vacationers.

We ate an extreme amount of seafood while we were there. The Marina Village has dining options for everyone, even Tortuga Rum Cakes! You already know I stocked up. Our favorite meal was Nobu inside of the casino. The Black Miso Cod and Lychee Martini are what dreams are made of.

We’re already counting down the days until we get to go back!
